Superstrike Grass is a ‘flimcote’ seed treatment providing broad spectrum protection during plant establishment against three of the most prevalent and costly pasture pests in New Zealand. The inclusion of fungicide in the treatment protects seedlings against common soil borne diseases.

Superstrike Grass promotes fast and vigorous plant establishment with seedlings exhibiting strong tiller and root development.

Superstrike Grass seed treatment contains:

 

	A systemic insecticide for protection against:
	Grass Grub Argentine Stem Weevil Black Beetle
	A contact fungicide effective against the ‘damping off’ diseases Pythium & Fusarium
	Bird repellent, for any situation where bird theft is a problem

 

Superstrike Grass seed treatment is recommended for spring and autumn grass sowings where Argentine Stem Weevil or Black Beetle pressure is likely to be a limiting factor during the establishment period.

Superstrike Grass seed treatment is recommended in both cultivated and no-tillage situations.

For effective Grass Grub protection a minimum sowing rate of 15 kg/ha of Superstrike treated grass seed is recommended. For Argentine Stem Weevil and Black Beetle protection, the sowing rate for Superstrike Grass should be the same as the sowing rate for untreated seed.
